CSU SHIPC Palliative Care Communities Norms

We currently have 5 different Palliative Care Communities (PCC). Please choose the PCC you're interested in joining (you may choose more than one community!).

NOTE- We are currently only launching the following communities: Interprofessional Education, Spirituality, and Pediatric Palliative Care. If you choose another PCC, you will receive an invite to join once that PCC is ready to be launched.

Interprofessional Education: Our community promotes interdisciplinary collaboration in palliative care to provide shared learning and understanding among diverse healthcare disciplines.
Advanced Practice RN Alumni: If you’re an Advanced Practice RN (APRN) who completed the APRN course at the CSU Shiley Haynes Institute for Palliative Care, join our community to connect with fellow alumni and share expertise in the realm of palliative care.
Palliative Care for Social Workers: Join our community for social workers in palliative care to share resources, insights, and best practices to enhance support for patients and families.
Spirituality: Our community explores the role of spirituality in compassionate care, and aims to foster discussions and honor diverse beliefs to create a nurturing environment for both patients and caregivers.
Pediatric Palliative Care: If you're a professional who supports families of children with life-limiting conditions, join our community to share information, education, and resources to enhance the quality of care you provide.

If you have a suggestion for the creation of another PCC you'd like to join, please share it for our consideration:

Each PCC will have a moderator to facilitate member engagement and moderate one scheduled Teams meeting per month. Moderators have a short-term role (i.e., 3 months) with minimal commitments, primarily dedicated to facilitating a 1-hour meeting once a month. The moderator will have a CSU SHIPC staff member to assist them.
