Call for Poster Submissions: Conference After Dark (CAD)
Share Your Novel, Groundbreaking, or Futurist Ideas


We invite submissions for the Conference After Dark Poster Session, designed to showcase early-stage, high-potential marketing research. This session highlights novel, speculative, or emerging concepts that may not yet be fully tested but offer exciting new directions for theory and practice. The goal is to spark conversation, generate feedback, and facilitate collaboration across the academic marketing community.


✦ Submission Purpose

This session is ideal for:

  • Early-stage research ideas still under development

  • Conceptual models or provocations that challenge current paradigms

  • Methodological innovations or interdisciplinary explorations

  • Scholars seeking feedback, refinement, or research collaborators


✦ Submission Guidelines

Submit a maximum 1,000-word extended abstract structured as follows:

  1. Conceptual Background

    • Situate your idea in the relevant literature and identify key research gaps.

  2. Theoretical Development

    • Present your core idea, conceptual model, or theoretical proposition.

  3. Methodological Vision

    • Outline potential approaches for exploring your idea (even if exploratory).

  4. Preliminary Insights & Discussion

    • Share early reflections or open questions. Invite critique and input.

  5. Implications & Future Directions

    • Describe the potential impact of your idea and your goals for collaboration.

  • Notification of Acceptance: August 1, 2025

✦ Presentation Format

Selected participants will present their work in poster format during the Conference After Dark session. Posters should be professionally prepared and measure between:

  • 36 x 24 inches (91.4 x 61 cm) and

  • 42 x 30 inches (106.7 x 76.2 cm)

Space will be provided to tape or pin posters for an engaging, informal display and discussion.
